I’d just spent the day with families, then an hour on a complex report — weighing every sentence, asking: have I captured it? Did I honour the child’s presence, the parent’s resilience, the teacher’s care? I hit send knowing half of it might never be read.
Then I tried to turn the same idea into a post about sensory processing.
Too clinical. Too casual. Not enough context. Too much nuance for a square. I rewrote it three times. Two hours later, I closed Instagram with tears in my eyes and told myself I’d come back tomorrow.
Spoiler: I didn’t.
If this sounds familiar, you're not alone. And you're not failing at marketing your business.
You're just trying to do something really hard: translate the depth of what you do into a format that was never designed for it.
The very things that make you a brilliant therapist, make you a terrible marketer.
But there is a way to transition between those two roles in a way that uses your best skills from both to improve your whole business.
This workshop is about making that transition easier.
INTRODUCING
Why Caring Deeply Makes Marketing Harder for Therapists (And the Simple 5 Hour Content Method That Fixes It)
Most therapists aren't inconsistent with content because they don't care.
You're inconsistent because you actually care so deeply that every post becomes a tug-of-war between ethics, exhaustion, and wanting to get it right.
What should take 20 minutes becomes an hour of rewrites. Or worse - you don't post at all because nothing feels quite right.
This workshop is where that cycle ends.
The Freedom Therapist Content Method™
Free live workshop with Mia Poklepovich, OT and founder of OT Inspire & The Freedom Therapist Club.
Thursday 13 November, 5:30pm AWST.
Limited time replay available.
Inside The Freedom Therapist Content Method™ you’ll learn:
-
The 3-part post structure that works for any therapy topic - so you're never staring at a blank screen wondering where to start (or how to explain something complex and still grow your community)
-
Why "just be more consistent" advice fails therapists - and the one mindset shift that makes content feel like connection instead of performance
-
How to build a month's worth of content (that you’d actually be proud to put your name on) in one 90-minute planning session - no more scrambling for ideas or spending Sunday nights in Canva panic mode
-
The "exhausted week plan" - exactly what to post when you're running on empty so you can stay visible without burning out or forcing it
-
How to turn everyday clinical moments into content that books you out - without oversharing, violating confidentiality, or making it weird
You'll walk away with a simple, repeatable content method that fits inside a real therapist's week - one that keeps you visible to new clients without stealing your evenings, your energy, or your integrity.
I'LL BE THERE MIA!Therapists who've used The Freedom Therapist Content Method™ have:
Hi, I'm Mia.
A mental health occupational therapist, private practice owner and business mentor for therapists who want to build businesses that actually feel good to be inside of.
For almost eight years, I’ve run my private practice while working across some of the most remote parts of Australia with long drives, red dirt and a lot of time to think about how much this work asks of us.
In that time, I’ve watched the therapy world shift beneath our feet.
New regulations. NDIS reforms. Endless admin.
More noise, more voices, more pressure to keep up.
And somewhere in all of it, it’s become harder for good therapists to be found … even when their work is changing lives.
Not because they’ve lost their passion, but because the ground underneath them keeps moving.
That’s why I built this method. Not to turn therapists into marketers, but to give us a simple way to stay visible… without selling out what we stand for.
A way to use our words as connection.
Because when thoughtful, ethical therapists are the ones leading the conversation, the whole profession gets stronger.

This workshop shows you how to share that without it feeling like a second full-time job.
